Chris Mize Memorial Hot Dog Race

Description: We will be running Hot Dog Races at Oakshade Raceway in memory of a good friend and former Sandusky Speedway promoter Chris Mize. We will have four events, one for each of the regular classes at Oakshade Two drivers and two alternates will be randomly chosen to compete in each event. Each event will consist of two drivers starting from a stop at the start/finish line. Drivers will run one lap and come to a complete stop back at the start/finish line. They will then shut off and exit their vehicle. Each will eat a provided hot dog and beverage. Once finished, drivers will get back into their car and strap back in. Once official has verified the driver has safely secured all safety devices/harnesses, they will then proceed to do another lap. The driver that finishes the second lap first, wins.

Overall fastest time will win the Chris Mize Memorial Hot Dog Race Championship Belt courtesy of Big D's BBQ and Charlie K's BBQ
